Toshiba and Farnell strengthen supply chain collaboration to expand range of new and innovative products

Toshiba Electronic Components & Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") announced that its European sales and marketing subsidiary, Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH, has expanded its partnership with Farnell. Farnell is a global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, selling products under the Farnell brand in Europe, Newark in North America and Element14 throughout Asia Pacific. According to the agreement between the two parties, Farnell will increase the inventory of Toshiba products and increase the support for the supply chain of Toshiba customers.

This new partnership arrangement stems from both companies' desire to bring Toshiba's leading solutions to a wider range of markets/applications including automotive, industrial, IoT, motion control, telecom, networking, consumer and white goods applications . Farnell's product portfolio will now be expanded to include more of Toshiba's most innovative products, covering approximately 800 products by the end of the year and further increasing to 1,000 products by 2023.
